Description

The TOX MHD-S metall cavity fixings M8 x 55 mm are galvanised with metric screw and have a fixing cap with rotary protection, expansion elements that expand over a large surface and are used for mounting wardrobes, curtain rails, luminaires, electric switches and many more. The fixings are suitable for single and double-sheet gypsum plasterboards, gypsum fibreboard and wooden boards as well as in hollow bricks and for wall and ceiling installations. MHD-S provide the following advantages: a form-fit anchoring on the board or web rear side, the object can be loosened or tightened without releasing the fixing anchorage, the fixing cap prevents the fixing from slipping further into the hole and the rotation protection (noses) prevents the fixing from rotating. Supplied in a carton box of 25 pieces.Installation type and notes:>
Pre-positioned installation
The fixing should be installed with the TOX mounting pliers MZ or PMZ, if possible, but installation with an electric drill or screwdriver is also possible.
Make sure to use the defined drill diameter
MHD-S, M8, should be installed with the mounting screw M8.
The rotary protection can be pressed back into the original form, if required (e.g. on tiled gypsum plasterboards).
Observe minimum cavity depth (55 mm) and board thickness (8-16 mm).
