The HZ 5 RR is equipped with a potential-free Reed contact in addition to the counter. The Reed contact sends one signal per double lift of the
diaphragm which corresponds to 20 cm³ oil flow. Like the FZ 5 the HZ 5 RR can be used as encoder for other measuring systems. If the HZ 5 RR is used with other systems, the Reed contact can only be used as signal switch. The limits of 180 V DC and 0.1 A must not be exceeded!
The total load of 1 W must not be exceeded, the Reed contact could be
destroyed. For higher loads it is necessary to use a relay with
free-wheeling diode.
