Description

The TOX parallel expansion fixings are made of polyamide and consist of two two-way divided expansion bodies which are offset to each other by 90°, movable rotating wings, slotted fixing neck with spinning protection and a fixing rim. They are used for fixing the most different objects like e.g. switch cabinets, radiators, lamps and many more. The fixings are particularly suitable in heat-insulating bricks, in perforated bricks with dense microstructure and in the refurbishment of old buildings (e.g. quarry). The parallel expansion fixings have the following advantages, like the special expanding construction (long expansion area), guaranteed high load values, the fixing rim prevents slipping into the drill hole, the slotted fixing neck ensures that the rotation locks work perfectly and the movable rotating wings support both the rotation lock and the load-bearing values in perforated bricks. The fixings will be delivered in a PU of 25 pieces.Installation types and notes:>
Pre-positioned installation
Minimum scrrew length = fixing length + thickness of the object to be mounted + 1 x screw diameter
Combination with wood, chipboards and spacer scews
In solid building materials with dense microstructure the next thinner screw diameter is to be selected
Drill into heat-insulating bricks and perforated bricks using the rotary drill (without impact)
Drill into perforated bricks without impact to prevent the bore getting too large and to prevent webs in the perforated bricks from breaking away.
