Description

The Afriso Flow-Control 3/K HT fuel oil de-aerator is intended for the use in single-line systems with return flow feed in oil-fired systems where it ensures a continuous de-aeration and a smooth burner operation. It is suitable for the following media: fuel oil EL (DIN 51603-1) and diesel fuel (EN 590) as well as bio fuel oil (EN 14213) and bio diesel (EN 14214) with up to 100% FAME and vegetable oils (rapeseed oil). It can also be used in areas liable to flooding. Thanks to a special design, this aerator is particularly recommended for mounting below the max. fuel oil level in the tank and for any application requiring particular safety.
Flow-Control 3/K HT is made of a diecast zinc housing with female G 1/4" connection thread at the tank end and male G 3/8" connection threads including 60° cone at the burner end for burner-hose connection. An oil hose with ball-shaped sealing for 60° cone and a union nut G 3/8" is supplied for connection to the oil filter.Due to its two separate float chambers, Flow-Control 3K HT is different from other deaerators. A lower chamber consists of a metal de-aerator hood with operating and venting float and an attached transparent safety float chamber made of plastic. This prevents oil foam from escaping through the ventilation hole (e.g. during commisioning/filter exchange) and also indicates malfunctions of the vent valve caused by deposits (soiling) or other reasons.
Advantage: the danger of an unnoticed leaksagein the return line is averted, and a regular check of the return line is not required any more. Technical data:
