Description

C-steel press fittings are often used in closed hot-water heating systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. They are also suitable for compressed air systems, air conditioning units and solar systems according to DIN 4751 and other closed circuits of 12 - 35 mm.
In unpressed condition, these connections are leaky due to a special O-ring. That is why unpressed connections can be found very easily during a pressure test with water or air.
After the pressing, the connection is permanently tight and cannot be disconnected.
